A nice walk

It was a little brisk today, but the sun was shining. So we bundled up and took a walk. It felt so good.  Not just because I love taking a walk, but because it was one of the few things we can do to get out of the house.

We’re on voluntary social distancing.  Even if we weren’t, everything is closed.  So we’re going to have to find things to do.

Since my school is closed and my granddaughter has been taken out of daycare, I’ll be homeschooling our  preschooler this week! That will keep me busy!

We broke out some jigsaw puzzles today.  Thank goodness for ebooks and Netflix – and walks!

  1. Taking walks is such a great way to take in nature and be part of the social distancing topic. We all need to find ways to keep our sanity and still be part of the greater good.

  2. I’m excited because our upcoming week looks warmer and sunny. Temps are supposed to be in the 50s, even hitting 60 one day! Someone said today we should call it physical distancing, not social distancing. We made an effort to reach out to our neighbors and friends today via email and phone calls. Enjoy your time with the preschooler and keep taking those walks!

  3. Our neighborhood is attempting a “shamrock hunt” tomorrow and whoever participates is putting a shamrock in the window and then we are walking around the neighborhood looking for shamrocks!
