Sleep is highly underrated.
I have not had a good night’s sleep since the time changed on Sunday. It’s Thursday already and I still haven’t adjusted!
Either I can’t fall asleep in the first place, or I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t go back to sleep.
I’ve always been a good sleeper. I’ve only had a serious bout of insomnia once in my life. I take it for granted. I go to bed, I close my eyes, I go to sleep, I wake up in the morning. It’s not something I give much thought to.
But this week, it’s all I can think about. “Am I going to get a good night’s sleep tonight??” It makes me feel for people who have chronic insomnia. I’ve been walking around all week like a zombie. I can’t imagine how those poor souls who deal with this on a regular basis get through the day.
I really need a good 7-8 hour night of uninterrupted sleep. Here’s hoping tonight is the night!
